They call and say that I have a pending litigation legal matter that I need to respond to. I have not received any legal letters of any sort from any one.
Called and says my husband has pending litigation crap and if he doesn't respond within by the end of today they will put out a warrant for my husbands arrest. He ask me if we received a 10 day notice? And I said well where did you send it too? My invisible address because we did not get anything. I told him that you don't call me and threaten that my husband will get arrested. He ended the call with tell your lawyer to meet us in court! Ok sure WHEN MORON! He didn't even give me a time or date! So stupid! I don't know how this people go home knowing that they make calls like that everyday scaring people! All they have to do is call my lawyer and deal with them. I get it we made some bad choices who doesn't but we aren't criminals.
Scammers like this one are dumber than a bag of hammers, illiterate and incredibly hateful of Americans. They call in the hopes you'll be caught off guard and will reveal personal data or even send money their way. They (and we) are better off having their tongues cut out.
Yeah - scam - they keep calling my work phone and leave message saying "you have pending litigation" but never state my name .... 3rd message now that has been left.
I talked to a female, she said the same thing as everyone. Told her I never got a letter from AA lenders (online lenders). Only money I borrowed was from Wells Fargo for a car loan and has been paid off. Told her that I know it was a scam and over conversation is being recorded and they are being reported for harassment as we speak. She got frustrated and said "we'll see you in court"!. Told her thank you and go [***]! Hung up and reported their number.
