Automated caller left voice message claiming that our "payday loan" was approved (nobody at this household has any need of such, and, if we did, we'd go to a bank), and that all we have to do is "claim" up to $1,500 within 24 hours on a website (noted in the widget below) with a robot-voiced "promo code," "4-1-1-4". Very professional sounding; almost like a TV commercial/game show host, not a typical person/scammer. We rec'd a number of phony caller ID calls after that (one from "Children's CA(ncer?)" and another from California), but, no messages were left. Typically, we do not pick-up the phone unless we recognize the caller ID and/or the person's voice.

Pay Day Loan scam. Robocall saying we contacted them earlier, we didn't, and we were approved for a loan. Probably for 400% or so. Will file complaint on this since they left a msg on answering machine. Not very smart.
