Called, didn't recognise the number so didn't pick up. They left a message, caller sounded like some sort of pre-recorded message since the voicemail recording only picked up half of it. Calling about "time sensitive" information and how I needed to act now by calling back at a different number. Sorry, don't know anyone in that area, not gonna pick up!

Got a similar message moments ago. Also said important to call them back due to pending arbitration.

Please note no one will contact you by phone about an anonymous legal matter moreover without identifying their office and who to contact by name. Legitimate official business matters will contact you by mail and or certified mail.

Additionally pls know your consumer rights. Debt collectors must identify themselves. Must prove you have a debt. And cannot harass you.

Past or overdue Debt in and of itself is not a crime. So don't fear. Get informed.

These scammers pursuing fabricated debts are illegal.  They are committing the crime. You can contact the AG Attorney General office for your state. Consumer Protection Bureau. And report this criminal behavior.

But folks never never return these phishing identity theft fake bill collector calls or provide them with your personal or financial information. If you are facing hard times - May God bless you with all that you need and peace of mind. It gets better. Keep your head up and persevere.

(That said, to the scammers out they, God don't like ugly. If the scammers are reading this, you should pray for forgiveness and get a better life. Before it's too late. )
