Since July 26, 2017 I have received 6 calls (sent them to voicemail) from a Raquel Brown, mediator for a Fraud Division out of Baltimore City County. The message says a claim has come across their desk linked to my ss#. If I don't want a sheriff at my door to serve me with court papers-call them back ASAP! They have used two numbers (678) 799-7665 & (470) 359-9258. If they had my ss# I'm SURE they would have my address! This is a SCAM-don't send any money!
I talked to a Ms Franklin, told her if I have a valid debit I would pay it I only want to verify I'm dealing with a legitimate company so I need an address. She provided 2146 Roswell Rd NE Ste 108 Marietta, GA 30062. When I looked it up it's a USP Store https://marietta-ga-0302.theupsstorelocal.com/ so I call back told her that's fine if she accepts payments there but I need to know where their physical location is so I can verify they are legit. She became very defensive and hung up. Also refused to provided me with paperwork on this alleged debt (because when you're trying to rob people, the last thing you want is a paper trail).
