Robocall - "Hi, this is Allison from the warranty department, can you hear me ok? I'm calling because your warranty has expired and we have sent you numerous notifications regarding it. This will be our last attempt to contact you. Would you like to hear more information on how to extend your warranty?" Funny, doesn't say WHAT warranty or give a company name. BLOCKED>
Gave a first name only, and then said she was calling because we had "stayed in one of their resorts" and we qualified for...well, I don't know what we qualified for, as I hung up at that point. Since she didn't identify what "resort" chain she was calling from up front, it was clearly a bogus offer, so I didn't wait to see what we qualified for. Nice touch pretending at first that she didn't hear my initial hello and was "having a problem with her headset" which could have been true or could have just been to make it seem more real.
