Got multiple calls from this number on my home phone -- day and night -- no messages left. Called number back and middle aged woman answered .... asked her if this was a business or personal number -- said it was her cell phone. Asked her why she was calling my number and not leaving a message and what was the purpose of her call. She said that she did not recognize my number (was not calling from my home number), and that she wouldn't tell me who she was or why she was calling.
I'm assuming she is some sort of telemarketer or local person who some of these shady charities employ to make calls (Amer Kidney Fund, Veterans groups, etc), and that they use their cell phones that are 'unidentified'.....  Wanted to post this here so anyone else who gets these calls will be aware.   I will also block her calls, so as not to be bothered again..... I can't understand why IDIOTS who work for these companies don't at least say who they are and why they are calling --
(I donate to causes, good will, etc and if I knew that's who was calling, I'd next time answer the phone --- but Not Leaving A Message has SCAMSTER written all over it, and after 3 calls from the same number with no message left, they go on the BLOCKED list).
