Recorded calls received over 2 months about reminders of upcoming meetings. I live in Ohio, not Georgia where this group is located. Called back a few days ago and left voicemail. Got a return call about 2 hours later from a very nice man. Found out that someone had used 440 area code instead of 404. They said that they will correct the error which will remove my number from their call list. We will see.
This is the Banks County Historical Society in Homer, Georgia. For a couple of months I got calls from their number, usually about once a month. It was a recording telling me about their upcoming events and meetings. I called the number back and told them to take me off their call list. No calls now in about 2 months, so I guess it worked. Found out recently that someone had added my number by mistake.
