This caller replied to a post that I had on craigslist. I was selling an item. She said her name was Jenny and lives in Fort Worth, Texas. I live in New York. She said she wanted to buy the item I was selling and wanted my full name and address. She said she would mail a certified check and have a parcel company pick up the item. This is a scam. She is the second person from another state try and pull this on me. The approach was the same as the other person. I'm not sure if they are working together, but they try to get your full name and address, The certified checks they send are fake. Beware of this number and the scam. It seems to be common on craigslist. Your best bet is to only do business with local people.

Yes I concur. Nigerian scam style on Craigslist Los Angeles. In my case they asked for email and sent a fake paypal payment, on hold until I send a moneygram to cover shipping lol.
