Call received but not answered. CID: Fort Worth, TX. Left voice mail (paraphrased) in a recorded, somewhat robotic-sounding make voice: "This is Officer Willy Jacob from Internal Revenue Service. We are filing lawsuit against you. Call us back at 682-224-7277." Of course this is a scam of some kind, as IRS does not operate this way. This was quite similar to the calls I received several months ago, female robotic voice, same general message but from different numbers, Now blocked.
same as above. Received call from 6822247277 from Fort Worth Texas. Received a recorded message from a male recorded voice from the IRS saying I had a lawsuit against me. He said his name was Willie or Wally Jacob at the IRS. I received it January 15, 2016 The same day as other calls. They want me to call him back but I didn't.
This just happened to me! I was super freaked out. He wanted me to make a payment of $1500 over the phone in 90 minutes or a sherif would be at my door. He couldn't give me any information about anything except an arrest warrant number and a badge number which both could've been fake seeing as how he didn't even have my correct address when the real IRS mailed something to me recently. I'm releaved to know that it wasn't just me. Thank you!
