I just received this call as well. If it was from a debt collection agency don't they always notify you in writing first before attempting to collect any debt. It was said i made a payment that was returned as well. If i don't pay a certain amount that i am going to court.
A very professional woman called saying that this message needs to be forwarded to Mr. (Husband) and that there is a civil case pending against him for a returned check and he should be given the opportinity to work something out before his client continues to pursue the matter in court. Never wrote a bad check... Inless they're referring to a payday loan we took out online many years ago and was unable to pay back...
Ms. Louise contacted me saying I have a pending case against me. Once I probed her come to find out it was a payday loan that was sold to a collection agency. I paid the loan off a while ago and even have my payment letter. She tried to tell me I have multiple loans from the same company. Just wanted to bully me to pay more money. She couldn't send me any information. Scam 101..

Ms. Lewis has contacted my home looking for my husbands ex wife, regarding her debt. I have asked vto be removed several times. Oddly bthe ex says she never gave out our number nor listedvus as ac reference. It appears that this very aggressive deht collector and thev ex are going to make crazy .. 1. Paybyour bills
