On February 2, 2016, BBB notified Zenco Collections, LLC that BBB has identified a concerning pattern of consumer complaints regarding the company's marketplace behavior. Specifically, BBB has received complaints from consumers alleging that the company uses threats of prosecution, arrest, and/or garnishment for debts to collect on debts as old as 10 years and the firm fails to validate the debts upon consumer request. BBB requested the firm's voluntary cooperation in eliminating the identified patterns. As of February 29, 2016, Zenco Collections, LLC failed to respond to this BBB request.

Received a call from this number from KAREN POOLE in the "legal department" looking for a family member. She said that there was a claim against his social security number and he needed to call immediately and that i was his personal contact. I asked her about the claim and she refused to give me any information without said family members authorization. Found info on the internet regarding a scam and called her back. Poole wouldn't answer. I called from a different phone number and this time Poole answered "Processing Department". I played dumb and asked for Poole in the legal department. She put me on hold for a minute and then answered the phone changing her voice and told me she was somebody's assistant and to please hold. Some woman got on the phone pretending to be with the legal department who speaking on behalf of an attorney for the company. I pretended to be my family members wife and asked what the matter was about. She refused to tell me. I then asked her how long she has been scamming people. We got into a screaming match and she hung up on me.
