Who called from 6824985025

Got a call from this number stating that this was the IRS and that I was going to be arrested for tax fraud. I was instructed to call this exact number back when I did though it says that the number our code is incorrect. I haven't filled taxes in over 3 years due to the fact that I'm a disabled veteran and no longer allowed to work.

The IRS does not initiate communications
with a "cold call" to unsuspecting people.
Instead
The IRS always sends a letter, first!

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.

The caller stated they are from the IRS and to give them my name and number so that they can pull up my account.

I also am a veteran and receive a call from 1 682-498-5025 Texas number that I will be arrested for irs tax fraud.

This is a SCAM. The message stated that Steve Parker with IRS was going to have me arrested because of a tax matter. I called the number back and got an India sounding person who would not let me speak to Mr. Parker. I looked up the number for IRS in TX (where the call came from). It was not a valid number for IRS. I contacted the IRS. This i a SCAM.
