Live call to number on the DNC. Won a "free cruise", but have to pay "port taxes" right now. Which, of course, are non-refundable. Got multiple business names, but nothing seemed right. Finally got the company name of Bahamas Paradise Cruise Lines, LLC, 2419 E. COMMERCIAL BLVD., SUITE 33308, FORT LAUDERDALE, FL 3330. Registered Agent: GREENSPOON MARDER, P.A., 200 E BROWARD BOULEVARD STE 1800, FORT LAUDERDALE, FL 33301
Owner appears to be none other than Edward Levitan, which you can see his name referenced in 2012 for similar robocall complaints on this site here: http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-503-468-5198/26 as the owner of CELEBRATION CRUISE LINE MANAGEMENT LLC. Does that name sound familiar? it should, since it was reported to have been fined by the FTC for lots of robocall violations, as can be seen in the article at http://www.sun-sentinel.com/business/tourism/ ... 0305-story.html
Celebration Cruise Lines lost their ship, the Bahama Celebration, back in October of 2014 after it grounded it in Freeport. http://www.sun-sentinel.com/local/palm-beach/ ... 1101-story.html and they bankrupted the company (who know what happened to all those people who had bought "free cruises" back then) about the time of the FTC lawsuit.
The FTC has gone after them in the past, so I have little doubt that enough complaints will encourage them to go after them again.
