That is the best thing to do with these jokers. They get information on you and your vehicle(s) from the DMV then call with scare tactics to try and con you into purchasing one of their service contracts. They falsely claim this is an extended warranty which it is not. Third parties cannot offer warranties. These service contracts are rarely worth even the paper they are printed on since they have more ways to deny coverage for a repair than a Swiss Cheese has holes. They do not want you asking questions and make statements such as the rate only being available today and never want to give the name of the company, all clear signs to steer clear of them. The only ones that actually are worth it are those offered via your new car dealer or manufacturer.
Have gotten 2 calls from them in 2 hours. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. I figure if they are calling the right number and do want to talk to me, they'll leave a message. None left so I googled and landed on this site. Not sure how they got my number as I was only in TX long enough to open a bank account and I've never owned a Nissan. Will be notifying the bank ASAP and blocking the number.
