This number called said he was calling about business financing. When I said the old boss is no longer here, he hung up. Someone from a different number called this morning for a similar office. This is a scam
"Joe Allen" from "American Stimulus" called this morning. He was very rude when I ask him what the call was in reference to - practically yelled "you don't need to know anything". He will never get through any decent receptionist or secretary! It is our job to screen telephone calls from scammers that call 50 times a day!
I got the same call. They don't like it when we are doing our job and screening calls.
They are creating new ways to scam us, like "I am returning his call". I don't like to be lied to.
This number has called repeatly.. When I answered it made that "bleep" sound as many other telemarketers make. He asked for owner of the business and I simply stated to "Please take us off the list.." He replied with "What list is that? I will find and call some other excavator..." Very rude.
