First call from this number. I said hello twice and no response, so I said, "If you don't want to talk to me, DO NOT CALL ME." Glad I checked this out here...I will no longer answer.
I got a call from this number asking for Rebecca, theses calls started about 4 months ago somedays they will call once or twice other days they will call up to 24 times. The guy today asked for Rebecca, and I told him that he had the wrong number and that he needed to quit calling me, he preceded to ask me what my name was and I told him that this was my personal information and that I was not going to tell him we argued back and forth for about a minute or so and then he proceeded to call me a big B#$ch...
These people have been calling me for more than a week, always in the middle of the day when I'm at work, so I missed them. When I called back to find out who it was, they said they were with Microsoft tech support an had received many error reports from my computer indicating malicious software. Since I don't ever use my computer, this wa obviously not the case. They want you to go to their website so that they can take over your computer remotely. Today, the fourth time they called, I answered and told them to stop calling since I knew it wasn't legit...so far so good.
Don't answer, don't call back, don't go to their website.
Do block the number if you have that capability.
Got a cold call, claimed to be microsoft certified technician, getting error reports from my computer. Tried to get me to give them remote access to my computer, obvious phishing scam.
