Scam alert. Indian accent call about offering help with my Windows PC. Hung up. Had a friend who took the bait. Ended up with a virus and had to go to the bank to cancel her credit cards, etc.
I have been getting a slew of calls from this and other cloned numbers for three days now on my cell phone. I never answer (I don't answer numbers I don't recognize) and they don't leave messages. I work night shift...this is driving me crazy. How do I make it stop? I am on the PA & Federal Do Not Call list. Ugh.
I have been called by several 555 numbers. All have different area codes, but I refuse to answer any of them. They call so much, I thought they had to be scammers since no one ever leaves a voice mail. 684-555-0153, 580-555-0143, 678-462-1324 and 989-555-0180
Sign up for your cell provider's parental blocking service. Att charges $5 a month to block up to 30 numbers. Doesn't even allow them to leave a message.
