Someone just called my office, asking for the owner by name, and claiming to be with AT&T. She said her name was Whitney Moore and the caller ID said N Dakota call 701-355-6660.
I specifically asked are you from AT&T, and she replied yes. She was very rude in her tone of voice.
She claimed that there were lines added to his account and several calls to Jamaica.
I asked her for a call back number, and she rudely said why would I give you his account number. To which I said, I asked for a call back number. She then hung up on me.
It was obvious that this was a scam call from the first words out of her mouth. But the way she spoke, her tone of voice, and what she was claiming; it is easy to see why so many people get scammed
Recieved a call claiming to remove $15 off my monthly At&T charge. She said she was from AT&T. She asked me how many phone lines I have to which I said "Shouldn't you know that?".
She kept repeating that she is in a different department and then hung up. Obvious scam.
Received a call from 701-355-6660 at 10:35 a.m. EST. Called ID said N DAKOTA CALL. She needed to talk to the person handling the AT+T account. I told her that she's not with AT+T and to get a real job. She said she has a job and loves it. I hung up after cursing at her.
