Says there is a tax lean against me and I would be arrested if I didn't call back to rectify. I don't owe taxes to anyone! These scammers need to be locked up...

Odds are, your caller is in India or Pakistan.
Therefore, it would be extremely difficult for US Law Enforcement to "lock them up"

There is a widespread IRS (or CRA) or "tax scam" being  practiced by scammers on both USA and Canadian residents.

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.

Said there was a warrant out for me against my name ans SS# , It will be issued by 11 am tomorrow or call Johnson and Peters Law Partners, Steven Mason @ 253-200-0644.
Caller said her name was Katherine B calling from Washington Corrections Facility.

Total scam.  Operating out of India and Pakistan.   Totally messed legalistic mumbo-jumbo too.  Why would a private law firm know anything,  or have  anything to do with  a public prosecutor's office.  Why would a private attorney know anything about an arrest warrant. before one was issued or have anything to do with the decision to seek such a warrant by  law enforcement officers?.

And of course the craziest thing of all:  Why would a private attorney cold-call someone from a public correctional facility.

Totally screwed up mess.  Typical of the Indian/Pakistani law scammers, who know noting about the US legal system and feel then can just throw around legal terms to scare people into paying them money.

Ignore and block the calls.

Didn't answer, of course. My caller ID said directory assistance ND.  Illegally called it 9:15 PM at night. I call blocked the number.
