Scammers call everyone without paying attention to the DNC list law or your requests that they stop. Many are located outside the US, out of reach of US law enforcement. Others hide as charities, giving the charity almost nothing but making the call legal.
Robo Call message guy with money making scheme. Just called from 907-375-2930 just 30 seconds earlier. I pressed 9 to be removed just to be harassed again by this phone number. I pressed 9 again but it forwarded me to the next prompt and I didn't have time to listen to the long recording. I've been through this one before. The next recorded message takes at least 5 minutes then asks you to leave your email address so the company can send you more information. I haven't done this yet because I know that my email will be spammed for all eternity as well. One I have all the info, I will file the lawsuit. I know it will take time but I asked these bottom feeders to stop calling me at least one year ago. Because they don't follow the DNS law, they will owe me at least $500 for each call after I asked them to stop. I have been tracking all the calls and it now equals 156 calls over 12 months. That is about $78k in settlement although the lawyer will get half of that but who cares.
Stern male voice instructs "Stop what you're doing, and listen to this very important message." Then goes on to say if I follow the instructions, I will get $10,000 placed in my bank account. At the end of the spiel, if I press "9" supposedly "you will never hear from me again". So I pressed "9", and the spiel started right up again from the beginning!
