Caller identified himself as Southwest Airlines,he let me know that I won an all expense paid trip for 2 to anywhere in the US. Hands the call to a female that asks of I'm married. Both callers sounded Indian/Asian, very difficult to understand.
Got call at 1:30pm. Caller claimed to be from Southwest Airlines, that they are celebrating their grand opening of their brand new Reservation center here in Las Vegas. He then asked if I am "familiar" with Las Vegas? I said "Well yes, I live here." He then said I won 2 free round trip tickets anywhere in the US. He then passed the phone to his "Manager" a female who asked if I understood her "colleague" and I said "not exactly... he said he's with Southwest Airlines" and she said "Oh I'm sorry he misspoke, we're a travel agency and the tickets are for Southwest Airlines." The then asked my age... I said "Why does that matter, I'm over 21." She asked "are you between 25-75?" I said "Yes I am." She asked if I was married, I replied no. She then asked if I had a significant other, I replied no... but I have family. She laughed and said that was fine. She then asked again "So you won't tell me your age?" I said again "Why does that matter?" She then said "Well, we just... " CLICK! She hung up.
Just received a call saying the same as above about being invited to some special opening of Southwest Airlines. Played along as I googled the number and then hung up once I found this and was being "transferred" to a manager. They called back 5 times after I hung up. Blocking #.
