For at least six months or more i have been getting this automated call claiming to be from sallie mae (now also associated with joseph gray, same type of message, same exact phone number) I have actually called sallie mae's contact us line and got into a near screaming match with them because i kept getting asked the same question over and over and over and they just didnt seem to listen...they were of no help at all, so i got frustrated and asked them am i just supposed to keep putting up with this never ending barrage of calls?? she said well let me have your account number and social security number and i will turn this file over to my supervisor...well she was a manager herself and i had just told her that there is no account number because i dont have an account with sallie mae, never did and never will...and i sure as hell would never give my social security number to a complete stranger and that they would not need my ssn because it would not benefit them...i finally ended up hanging up on them after an hour of talking till i am blue in the face. i finally told them that my lawyer will be in touch, since they cant help me in any way and the calls wont stop, and even if it isnt related to them, the company calling me is still sallie mae, irregardless and its their issue and they can deal with my lawyer, even if it means telling him the same thing they did to me...and my lawyer wont be so nice.
it's a scam!!! do not share your information with those people!!!!!! carefully manipulate them, ask whom they are affiliated and what is their # and report them to local authorities. again do not share any information regarding your loans, financial pin, loans numbers and lenders.
A call came into my cell phone just a few minutes ago from this number, but the number had a plus sign in front of it -- +7023595643. I thought a + sign indicates an international call, is Nevada. Weird.
I've gotten 3 calls from them in the last hour. I work at home and it's frustrating to have to keep dealing with the damn phone when I'm trying to work. I haven't answered. If I don't know the number that's calling me, I don't bother.
