Just received a call from this number and I only picked up because I know 2 families with the name Henderson so thought it was call from them. the caller stated he was calling from Windows Repair Center. I hung up. Foreign Accent
Still scamming. Two people called from Microsoft Support. Said I had virus. Wanted To get in my computer to fix problem. I told them I would hunt them down and inflict damage to their computer if they ever called again. Number is fake.
Just received a call from this guy "informing" me of a problem with my computer. The same guy called us FIVE TIMES last Saturday roughly one hour between calls. Caller ID for those calls was different number than today's call although the number for last Saturday's calls was the same for all five calls. His accent is Asian, and if memory serves, it is the same guy who has been calling me for the past two or three years, anywhere from once to a half-dozen times per week.
The bottom line is that this guy is bad news and is undoubtedly infecting computers with Ransomware to the unsuspecting person who permits him access to his/her computer. DON'T PERMIT ANY CALLER ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER WHOM YOU DO NOT KNOW!!!! These callers claim to be calling from Microsoft Technical Support. Microsoft has never, nor will they ever, call anyone with the claim that they have detected a problem with your computer.
