Got a call and decided to answer. They said they were from Caesars in Vegas and offered me a 3 night 4 day stay with tons of extras in an offer that is good for two years. I said I needed to think about it and could I call back. Guy tells me he will send me an email with the details but said his system didn't show him my email to verify it was correct. I think this was a scam call to steal credit card information.
Just received a phone call from this Las Vegas, NV area code number to my cellphone. The caller said his name was Harry Reid and that I am being evicted from my land. Just kidding, I never answer calls with a Las Vegas area code. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
I got the same call today and offered me everything under the sun. They said all they need is $359.00 for the whole thing. I told him sure let me just hand over my card number. Do you want my SS too? How about i just write you a blank check. He says is something wrong? I say first off you cold called me, i don't know you from Adam. Second, i don't give personal info to people i don't know over the phone. I said send me an email with everything in it and I'll look it over, do a background check on your company and make sure y'all are legit and I'll go from there. He said the offer is only a phone offer and that he wasn't aloud to do that, but thanked me and said he enjoyed talking to me. If i get some kind of bill from them saying that i said yes, because they recorded me saying yes to other things like my name and so on I'm going to go ballistic and sue the crap out of them if i can find them.
