Just now got this call, after having cancelled my Review Journal subscription (which THAT took forever cause they tried to sell me stuff like SEVEN TIMES and I felt like I needed to record myself saying "I just want to cancel." ugh). I'm on the Do Not Call list. This is harassment.
I called this company back and if you wait in silence long enough an automated message comes on calling it the Piza Marketing Group calling about you cancelled subscription to the local paper....... they want to offer you a reduced rate to stay with them. It gives the option not to receive any more calls but you must be calling from the # they are calling you on.

We've cancelled my father's newspaper subscription TWICE since he died. 'finally told them to keep the prorated refund - just don't renew it. His subscription expired Sat & voila they call Mon.
