I got a call after texting this number for about 16 hours from an aggressive man asking why I was sexting his daughter. I got the number from the POF app and I never sent a photo of my genitals or anything remotely close to it. He said I was going to kidnap her after we said we could possible hang out later today and I said I was free early from my errands if you want to hang out let me know. This is when I got the phone call of the alleged sexting and kidnapping claim. This is beyond insane, I'm in the military I know when I'm being scammed and even on dating apps I'm highly cautious of sending ANYTHING that would jepordize my career

Yes it is an extortion scam being run on or by that site as well as OKCupid, both of which I l learned are owned by Match.com that has a sketchy history itself. There are numerous number threads here with the same story. Make a police report to your local PD. If the calls come from South Carolina, which seems to be popular with these extortionists, make a report there as well.
Wow! Something VERY similar happened to me yesterday from the smell exact number. "Dad" called me saying that his daughter has been sexting older men, and that there's already an investigation, warrant for my arrested etc. Nothing remotely illegal happened between us, I thought she was of age and we never sent any pictures or lewd texts. I was still spooked though. Thank you Internet!
