Received call from this number. Male identifed himself as "National Disability" I have brand new number and disability claim. I said "case had already been determined" and he hung up on me.
I called back the next day after thinking about it. How did they get my number AND know I had disability? (I got declined for a job about about 4 hours after the call so I thought maybe the employer was checking... because they do that through 3rd parties even though it's illegal!)
I got a female to answer the phone. Very robotic. She did make only one comment off script so I guess it wasn't voice recognition technology or VERY good voice recognition technology. Nothing she asked was confidential so I played along with it. She then said I "do not qualify" for disability. I asked where she got the number. She she didn't have access to that information. When I explained it was a new number and only appeard on confidential documents, she hung up.
