The IRS does not initiate contact via a phone call, they first send postal letters.
The IRS does not threaten arrest.
The IRS does not demand immediate payment over the phone.
The IRS does not ask for Credit card, Debit card, or prepaid money card information, at all.
It is a scam ran by offshore criminals attempting to trick you into sending them money.

Just got a message from this one claiming to be the IRS giving me a final notice about my IRS lawsuit. Since I've already gotten my return and NO correspondence by mail from the IRS, I'm calling this one a phishing scam and NOT calling them back. I also reported it at irs.gov.
Supposedly a call from IRS which is a lie and a scam from 702-747-7014. Apparently several people have had similar calls one reported call to IRS directly . No Federal agency makes phone calls, so be aware!
