The information on caller id is often spoofed and mostly likely an out of service number. However there are operations that display numbers that have no connection to the call in question.
I got the exact message....specifically from Ms. Jackson. It took me several calls back (I actually called a different number back since Ms Jackson was a bit of a pain in the [***]) with arguments on the people on the other side of the phone and a threat to call the Las Vegas police.
Anyway, long story short, they are a collection agency. Sentry Recovery And Collection.
Got a call claiming to want to collect a debt. As soon as I told him I'm sewing the Company he's trying to claim against, he hung up. Tried calling back several times. Call went straight to hold. No one ever answered after being on hold more than 10 mins. Finally got answer... Once I told him the matter would be going to court & to stop calling me, that's when the guys answered, then "stop calling me".
A Mr. Gio called for me from this # @ my last place of employment claiming to be calling about a background check. I then recieved a call to my cell phone from this same # but because I did not recognize the # i declined the call. The caller did not leave me a voicemail message. I asked google who this # belongs to & come to find out the people calling are using false pretenses to contact people. Glad I looked it up
