May I point out that they get the info from the Virginia DMV which SELLS that info every time you buy or sell a vehicle. It is public info when you register, transfer, etc.
This company and so many others get their phone lists from dealers. I get them all the time AT WORK. And no matter how many times I have asked them to quit calling, it still happens again.
1. I sold the vehicle -- they still call.
2. I wrecked the vehicle -- they still call
3. I traded it in -- they still call.
4. It was stolen -- they still call.
5. My wife and kids were killed in an accident with this vehicle -- they still call.
Now it's a game.
Today, I got the call, lots of noice in the back ground, but no direct response. I hung up, called back and got some lady of minority status that needs a few more English lessons. She obviously got the call, thinking it was just on hole. After about 3 sentences, the lazy, can't get any better job, B^%$# hung up. I called back again, got a different women, said she would stop the calls, but advised me there are many more companies that have the same list.
Start keeping track of all the numbers that call, with date and time. After about 5 - 10 calls, even if different numbers, file a complaint with the FCC and FTC (Fed Comms and Fed Trade). They can take action to stop them.
