I have blocked this number but by changing the final digit on the calling number--the calls keep coming.

I have been getting calls from this number with increasing and annoying frequency on my cell phone which I seldom use because I get a weak to nonexistent signal at home. However these people seem to sniff out the brief gaps in service and invade my privacy. Why would I send money to an organization that will only use it to hound me on the telephone and stuff my mailbox with further demands for money along with booklets and four color printed materials and enthusiastic recommendations from film stars?
I have been receiving numerous calls from this number. I looked up the toll-free number for Operation Smile and started calling them (blocking my number) and harassing their people. They finally changed their inbound telephone system to not accept blocked call. At least it was fun while it lasted.
They were calling at least a couple of times a day for a week or two and then stopped a few days ago. They don't leave a message. Then they called again this morning and I answered the phone. Once the guy confirmed my first name he hung up. Strange. Anyway, I'll know not to answer again, and eventually they will give up. They always do.
