Got a VM from this number twice saying to call back for more information on "your case" (non specific). Called back and was put on hold for about five mins. Then some clown with a heavy accent picks up and starts spouting obscenities. Can't figure why they would spend the time to even set something like this up
Robo voicemail left on cell phone (that was cut off, but managed to leave call back number.) Called back. Very heavy India accent, claiming to be "Karen Smith" with the IRS & started asking what my name was. I wouldn't even give "Karen" that much. I've never even had any mail from IRS at all, so I'm guessing that this is a total SCAM.
Same as above. Left a robo voicemail about "a case" (?) that was cut off but managed to leave a callback number. I NEVER callback. "Karen Smith" from India! Bwahaha! BLOCKED!
Answered the called and was told by a robot that the irs was trying to contact me and they were filing a lawsuit against me. Called back and some Indian guy answered said he needed my name which I gave then asked when I filed my taxes and for how much? I said "you're the irs you should know all that... goodbye"
