Called and hung-up at 9:15 am this morning. No message. Thanks for the above posts. So many back and knee brace scams lately! I got two, so far today. If you are a senior: scammers can get you from a list. (I HOPE not from Medicare or CMS)! Anyway the chances are that we could have knee and back pain so we are natural targets. (In my case everything hurts)... These constant calls certainly are a PAIN in the A**!
took long time for caller to answer then asked me if I was on Medicare, I answered "as far as I know I am," then wanted to know if I had knee or back pain, I replied No and she hung up. This is scam to get you to buy a worthless backbrace or knee brace telling you that Medicare will pay for it.
Live woman with heavy accent in noisy call center. Voice sounded exactly like woman who called last evening from an international number who claimed to be consumer security. When I called her out on being a scammer she told me to shut up, FU and then hung up. I can't be sure this was the same woman just now from this Virginia number but it sure sounded like her. When I said WHAT DO YOU WANT? She hung up. Both numbers now blocked.
