Left me a recorded message, saying that the reason for the call is that what appears to be the IRS (not very clear) is filing a lawsuit against me, to return the call, so I did. The voice on the other side was that of an Asian male, did not get the first part of his statement, only "change your voice, and call me back ok" then hang up. I called back and he told me, something like "you should know about crank calls, why are you calling me mother f***er". Then, I hang up. Just got another call but rejected it and blocked the number.
Got the same call.when I called back I got Habib with a very strong Indian accent telling me there was a lawsuit and the police will be coming by on Monday to arrest me. Google IRS scams. Plenty of info.
Received a call from an automated system said Our company was being sued and that we needed to contact the IRS at this number (703-348-3823) then hung up. I called it back and it was busy.
Called regarding IRS debt, couldn't/didn't explain why the call and for what specific reason....I asked several direct questions which frustrated him. He said he was Officer White but it didn't sound right, i pinged with more questions, then he stated I would be in handcuffs soon, then hung up.
