I don't know who this is, but they call my phone 3 or more times a day. I call back it rings once clicks and then the ring tone changes as it rings again and then you get a recording that says it's not in service BUT it is NOT the automated voice from the phone company, it's like an answering machine. Whoever it is is trying to make that recording sound like the real one you get when you dial a wrong number.
Same experience has those reported here. I have received calls from that number throughout the day for several days now. I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize. If it is someone who needs to talk with me then they will leave a message. However, the calls from this number have been incessant and very annoying, so I called back. I got the message that the number is no longer in service. The voice was not computer generated as I am used to hearing. Clearly this is a scam of some sort. I just wonder to what end?
