got call on my cellphone (that's long been on the donotcall list) from this number saturday. I've never used a carpet cleaning service, esp since I too have wood floors. Last month got a similar call that also pretended to be a charity; and the month before another home access scam with similar bargain rate. Methinks its actually a scam by a medical debt collector since its heated up after i complained to law enforcement about my insurance company's playing games. Its customer care specialists are truly jobsworthy (new word I learned from the brits) and boast about their bipartisan political connections--i.e. mcdonnell/cuccinelli admin in VA and obama admin federally--hence no real law enforcement against those like this caller who deliberately flout laws like the DNC list, HIPAA, FDCPA, etc.
Verizon plays a major role in these irritating, never-ceasing Carpet Calls. Verizon happily receives major revenue from these no good robocallers, allowing them to utilize a telephone number that works to call consumers but is suddenly'not in service' when we call back.
Our government also sits on its hands and lets this harrassment continue, all the while giving lip service to so-called 'consumer protection'.
