Called leaving what can only be described as a threatening message using the terms "personal matter", "avoid a lawsuit", "get your attorney to call".  Any genuine debt collector can be asked to send you written notice of the debt. This is required under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, even if you don’t ask. (Scammers will say they aren’t allowed to do that, or will offer to email you something. Don’t accept that answer.
