You guys have me concerned. I received a call from this number and didn't recognize it so I let it go to my voice mail. The (Indian) guy said he had a job offer for me to look at. I've never heard of the company he's representing, but the job is in my current work area. I'm not sure how he got my number as he represented himself as finding my information on "Linked In." Then he said he would e-mail the job description to me and sure enough, there was an e-mail. I will not respond, as it came into my "junk mail" folder. I'm just concerned that there are people out there trying to get our information from us.
Also, call is coming from "Virginia" but the company on the e-mail is in Boston, MA.
Middleeastern guy saying they have a package delivery via currier that I need to sign for. I asked who it's from and they mention the conpany i work for an a name of a person within the company. I contacted that person they say is sending the package and they no nothing about it.
I called back the Tel # and they don't answer using a company name and when I ask what time the delivery will be ? I'm told in the afternoon.. Hummm how did they know it was me? I don't give out my phone number when i call anyone and they didn't ask my name.
SO is this a prank or something more.
I'll be waiting tomorrow for the package that I don't think will show up...
I'm so tired of these number spoofing jerks. I have better things to do while at work than screen these pointless calls. I had the same "indan" guy call, first it came up as a wireless number on my caller id. That was 703-483-3898. Then, 2 minutes later I got a call from Hartwell, GA - 706-805-1100 - same "indian" guy. Seriously.
I'm so tired of these number spoofing jerks. I have better things to do while at work than screen these pointless calls.Some British guy called and asking for my email id. i dunno what was that.
