Didn't answer, they left a voicemail. It was a computer-generated voice talking about Tax fraud claim, call before legal action or arrest. Total BS. Tax issues are done via letter, not phone and not with computer-generated voices.
I got a call from this number at 9:08 CST on my cell. Claiming tax fraud and going to be arrested. Claimed to be the US Department of Treasury. I called the number back a couple of times from a number other than my cell and they answered Department of Treasury. The call to me was not a live caller, it was recorded.
This is a scam. Google IRS phone scams report them 1800 366 4484 or call the cops . They are in a call center looking for victims to call back use common sense the IRS will mail letters not call from India
It was a recording about tax fraud and if I don't call them back right away I will get arrested and so on. I called the number back and got someone whose English was really bad. The man was rude. Its a big scam
