A number of scammers now structure their scripts to suggest that you are listening to a real person, for example, by asking if you can hear them before pausing a few seconds for you to respond. No number - home, cell or work - is safe because enough people fall for the scam to make it profitable to the scammers.
Keep getting calls from this number saying that my online registration has qualified me for some prize. The person talks so fast and will not stop. This is my work number and I would never use it for an on-line registration.

This number has called my cell twice, today...11:54 and 8:42. No messages, I just hit ignore feature. If I don't know who the caller is, I just don't answer.
