I received a call from this entity at 2:38 p.m.. A recording for the Prince William County Service Authority which supplied sewer and water treatment was played telling me to call back the Prince William County SA if I knew of ta location of a brake in the water line, and that the SA was doing service on my line on Bull Run Mt. I called back the SA because as far as I was concerned, I received this call in error because I have a well and septic system, and do not use the SA and never had a water bill from the SA. Later I was told that Verizon had a "dialogue" system which automatically called phone numbers located on Bull Run Mt. with this message. So Verizon calls customers and noncustomers too with this stupid utility message? Made no sense to me. My Comcast star 69 procedure indicated that the caller called me from 703-680-4571. I tried calling the number back and received a recording about providing my company ID. If you ask me, the whole thing sounds very "fishy" to me-- especially since I now see that this same number has been reported. I hope that the Feds investigate this because I received too many inane answers today when I tried to trace down why I received this stupid recording from the Prince William SA in the first place.
Prince William County water folks calling to let us know they will be draining hydrants over the next couple weeks and the water may appear cloudy as a result. They do it every year at this time.
