I recieved the same call, from the same number, same name, same heavy accent today at 3:45. He left a msg saying if i did not return his call then all he can do is wish me good luck as this bad situation heavily unfolds upon me. Glad to know others recieved the same, puts my mind at ease. Thank you former IRS employee for informing us all of this not being proper procedure.
Heavy Indian accented man left a message threatening legal action from the IRS. Said heaven help us if we didn't respond. The irs does not make out-bound calls of this nature.
I never answer calls from numbers I am not familiar with. I figure if it is important enough they will let a message. I received a call from this number at 1:55 pm on 8/4/15. Said call was coming in from VA, USA. I did not answer and no message was left.

There was more information at the beginning of the call but I could not understand it at all. It was a recording or a man that had a heavy accent and was difficult to understand.
