Received a call to our land line this morning (9 Sep 2016) at 9:20 am from this number. Caller ID: Unavailable. Didn't answer. No message left. So the call was not important and probably some robocall.
Caller ID is just the phone number. They leave no message.
I call back after hours (using *67 to block my number). There message is "I'm sorry we missed you. We were calling about the upcoming election. Thank you." Note the lack of mention of a telemarketing firm name or even which party they represent. Also note the lack of a do-not-call option. It is possible that they are fraudsters who will pocket virtually all of the loot.
I strongly recommend going to the candidate's pages or well known and longstanding groups affiliated with the party of your choice if you are so inclined to donate. Do not encourage the telemarketers.
Just received a call from 703-663-4115. Did not answer. Caller did not leave a message. I called back and recording said "Sorry we missed you. We were calling about the upcoming election."
Called at 6:43PM (Dinner Hour), did not leave a message on VM. I called back and got a recording that stated "Sorry we missed you, we were calling about the upcomming election.". There was no mention of a company or political group. Caller ID shows UNKNOWN NAME. Any decent company would at least have a legitimate caller ID showing their company name.
