I don't know anyone in Arlington, VA and when I answered and the heavily accented (not Virginian) male voice asked for a "Mr." (my full name) I knew they were solicitors. I told him I carried my sexual organs internally. He was silent. I hung up.
I was told that political and charity calls are not blocked by the do not call list. :(
The best thing to do, might be for everyone to saying yes, send me the info, then shredding it and sending it back. That will cost them money. If you set something up on Facebook and get 1,000 or 10,000 people to do it. It will start adding up.
Got a call from 703-740-8621. The woman asked for my husband. When I told her he wasn't home, she rattled off quickly her name and she'll call back. I quickly interrupted and asked her who she was again and what company she's with. Couldn't understand her name, but she said she was from the National Pro-Life Alliance conducting a very brief survey. Then she asked me if I was the Mrs. When I said "yes" she said the survey "would only take like 1 minute." I told her NO THANKS and please take our phone number off their list. She said she would immediately.
