SCAMMERS FROM INDIA! They claim they are the IRS and that you owe back taxes. They claim they have sent multiple registered letters but nobody was home to accept them.
Threaten you with loss of your license, passport, and being arrested. Do not get upset, this is not how the IRS handles possible tax delinquencies.
I just called them back to mess with them. The first time I got a lady and you can hear that it's a call center. She asked for my number so she can check in the irs database. When she could not find my fake number she said that I had lied to the govt and hanged up. I called back the 2nd time, this te got a guy who called himself mark Anderson but with an Indian accent. Did the same thing by asking for my number so he can pull my file. This time I gave him my google number I was calling from. He insist that is not the number they called. I said that's true because my mom just called me and informed me about the called and that am just 16 years old. Now he wants my moms phone number. I told him I can't give it to him. And then he started with the threats of loss of income etc. and at the top of my voice while driving I told him to STFU and go and get a 9-5 and stop scamming people. I could tell he was really posses off and could not tell back. I could hear him cupping the phone while mumbling jibbrish. I had to remind him am not done and he should shut up. And I the. Hanged up. He called back but did not pick up.

Got a call from 503-594-4295 and caller ID said it was from Arlington Virginia. In an Indian accent, the message left on my phone went something like this: "This is a automated call from the IRS and there is a case against you and you owe money. Do not ignore this message. Call this number immediately after you listen to this message, 703-879-6733. Do not ignore this call. We have tried to contact you before and you will be arrested and prosecuted for ignoring these claims against you."
I deleted the message. The IRS won't call you. They send letters in the mail to notify you of any issues. This is a typical SCAM. Just hang up on them or delete the message.
