I just picked up an automated message with an Indian woman's voice telling me I was being sued by the IRS and that I should not ignore this message and to call them back at 703-879-6753 immediately. Initially I was suspicious but still concerned. You see I am a non practicing CPA and should know better but it still startled me. But, since I have been audited at least 2 times by the IRS I know they do not initial contact via telephone. So I was glad my suspicions were confirmed by this blog. Thanks for being there guys.

Officer Rex Martin called looking for my wife, with very heavy Indian accent. I asked him for his officer ID he gave it as 942901. Sounds like a zip code. I told him to go f**k himself. He did not understand the words "valid", he would keep saying "waaaleed" . Anyway its a scam.
Message left on my voicemail that IRS wanted to speak to person at this number re legal matter. Not to make the situation worst I should call 703-879-6753 right away. I knew this was a scam. IRS doesn't contact people via phone concerning legal matters.
