Received a call today. I let them give the spiel/threats for a long time (25 minutes). I have to say it was convincing and I can see how they can frighten a lot of people. I pretended to be afraid and naive - boy did they try to run with that. I never got to them telling me what bank to drive to - I reported the call right away.
IRS Headquarters calling to inform me my tax records have had errors from 2009-2013 to the tune of $3967.31. Immediate arrest was imminent as this needed to be handled and was oh so serious. I could be sued for $95,000 that would be taken immediately from my bank account! (Oh Yeah, good luck with that) This from a heavily accented man by the name of Officer James Brown (AWWH! I feel good, I knew that I would....lol)

He demanded to know if this was human error or had I defrauded the IRS intentionally. I told him I was sure it was neither, that everything was just fine. He said he was downloading my file and I would be arrested in the next 30 - 45 minutes. Funny, I don't hear sirens yet...
My son received a call on his cell asking about my daughter. The caller had a heavy East Indian accent stating that his name is Mark Anderson and that he was conducting an IRS investigation on my daughter. My son ask for his number and said that someone would get back to him. The number the caller left is 1-703-879-7163. Why are thy calling my son for my daughter? Both are adults and each have their own numbers?
Mr Mark Anderson - same as that person who spoke to DAB.
I had to stay on my phone, drive to the bank, get $s and keep talking all the time since if the server noticed inactivity then it would disconnect and a call would go out for my arrest.
The phone fell and got disconnected.
