Same call as others from lady with Indian accent saying she was with the IRS and threatening a lawsuit , these people should be hung up by their toes and given 50 lashes!!!
I received a call saying I owed the irs for evading taxes between the year of 2009-2013. I just turned 18 so I'm pretty sure I didn't evade the irs. Then they gave me my deceased fathers name an that's when i knew something was up. I told them I was hanging up and they threatened to call the sheriff. I told them go ahead they don't know where I am.
A male with Indian accent said he was from the IRS. I asked him to verify Internal Revenue Service in Washington. He said yes. I couldn't understand him very well and asked to talk with someone who speaks English. He gave me his phone number, which was the same one he called from. When I called back the person said this was the "phone text fraud unit." I told him to take me off their call list and he asked why. I hung up. The background noise was that of a telemarketer call center.
How do these people find these jobs? What kind of interview process is used to determine if you get hired?
These scumbags are scammers trying to prey on the elderly and threatens to have the person arrested if they don't immediately get cash for the IRS. They should be shot on site!!!
