Called again today. The call was "picked up" by my answering machine - which recorded paper(s) being shuffled, than a hang up. Obviously, there was a human on the other end of the line, with a "script" in hand, and they weren't prepared to read it to a machine ! I find that laughable. I still wonder what the "scam de jour" is - but not curious enough to answer the call. Once again I say - if you don't recognize the number that's calling you, don't answer the call - no matter how curious you are !
S.O.S. Called 3 times today ! Geezus! What does it take to get through these peoples thick skulls ! A total of 6 calls so far, and every one "answered" by an "answering machine" ! I know these are not robo-calls, because the "machine" records the sound of papers being shuffled before they hang up ! A sure sign of mental illness is repeatedly doing the same thing, and expecting different results. Some moron is actually dialing my number, and apparently expecting me to answer the call - 6 friggin times? This would be funny - if it wasn't so crazy/stupid ! Part of me is tempted to answer, just for the pleasure of cussing this moron out - but that would be crazy/stupid on my part, and not following my own advice. Calm down, John
