Update: Actually they were not that bad ... they are the new "kinder, gentler" Sallie Mae and they just want to update your contact info, get you to apply for a new deferment or make a payment ... still the underlying premise remains intact; you owe us this debt that grows every day and can never be discharged, and we will quietly lie in wait until you ever have any assets and/ or money, and collect it all plus fee interest and penalties until the day you die ...
